General Analytical Laboratory (GAL) was established in the year 1977 to cater to the needs of various Private, Commercial and Government establishments, and an array of Industrial sectors. The Laboratory has excellent infrastructure with the state-of-the-art facilities in place to facilitate the production of accurate and valid data. GAL has been providing testing services to many cliental for over three decades, with a team of experienced professionals. Our Laboratory was the “First Private Laboratory” in the State of Karnataka and has been recognized by the Karnataka State Pollution Control Board (“A” grade for Water and Air). GAL is NABL accredited testing laboratory vide certificate number TC-5457.
ABOUT US
The Laboratory was under the leadership of Late Mr. H. S. Lakke Gowda, Managing Director of the Laboratory. He had nearly 28 years of Laboratory experience in various Government Departments and he was also responsible for starting the Drugs Testing Laboratory and the Forensic Science Laboratory in State of Karnataka.
He was trained overseas in Canada for Food, Drugs, and Water Analysis and in Forensic Science and with other technical and analytical techniques. He was a "Public Analyst" under prevention of Food Adulteration Act. He was also a "Government Analyst" under Drugs and Cosmetic Act. He was the Director of Forensic Science Laboratory, Government of Karnataka and was a "Chemical Examiner" to the state Government.
Under his late father guidance, Mr. Rajeev Lakkegowda has taken charge of GAL, continues to provide great Quality Assurance and Customer Satisfaction.
